Well, it officially looks like Fall outside in New England right now! The leaves have turned every shade of orange imaginable and it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Inside the house wasn’t looking quite as festive and to be honest I’ve never actually decorated for Halloween! Please don’t hold this against me! So this is our first time really decorating for the occasion. Usually we put a few pumpkins around the house and call it a day. But this year we decided to do a bit more since the kids are home due to remote learning. Not wanting them to miss out on all of the fun October brings, we decided to create this Halloween mantel with bats, pumpkins and dinosaurs, oh my!
After making a t-rex witch with a few extra-mini pumpkins, we couldn’t resist purchasing the unique t-rex art from the talented Printable Lisa’s Pets etsy shop and adding it to our mantel. The gradient pumpkin display was looking great, but missing a little something. So we added some spooky black flowers with eerie eyeballs to an extra pumpkin pail we had lying around for a quick and playful addition. And of course a letterboard with a witty saying and some paper bats completed the look. Viola! Our first Halloween mantel is complete!

Happy (early) Halloween, friends!
